This may be a saying you’ve heard a lot growing up – don’t turn molehills into mountains!
BUT – this is the perfect topic for a Mindset Monday post! We’re all guilty of this right? I know I am!
It’s very easy to see our calendar for the next month an immediately panic. I did this last month – April looked SO crazy based on my Google Cal. I was teaching tons of local workshops, a few online things, lots of deadlines, a few weekends of travel, one week of #workcation, and a ton of extra little things. I will be straight with you, I immediately panicked! Probably to the point where my last week and a half in of March were spent in a daily anxiety party…and probably was the #1 reason why I spent a bunch of those few weeks sick… Ugh!
Want to know what actually happened? I had several of the workshops get rescheduled or combined so I only taught a few times over the whole month, instead of multiple times a week! Our travels were not that bad, the only thing that really sucked was being sick for a few weeks here and there, but then even that lead to me finding a new doctor, (and an Endo diagnosis, but that’s a story for another time) and a change in my eating & supplements so I now feel even healthier than I have in years!
My workload was fairly heavy but certainly not that bad, and not even CLOSE to what it used to be when I had school + work + businesses to contend with all at the same time! (Seriously, I should have had a brain scan during those years, I was NUTS! haha!) BUT – even mentioning my years of doing all 3 at once, it wasn’t that bad! I lived! It (usually) wasn’t a mountain at all, but just a semi-large molehill of sorts. 😉
What in your life right now are you giving way more power over your life than it deserves?! Work, calendars, business stuff? Summer schedules + kids being home from school?! I have no idea what it may be for you, but I can pretty much guarantee it’s a molehill in more ways than it’s a mountain!
But regardless of which you classify your problems as, remember, God said you can tell mountains to be cast into the sea and they HAVE to obey you!

So mountain or molehill, tell your problems who your God is and that he’s working it out for your GOOD – end of story!
With love & blessings,
