Okay, this title is a little bit of a joke in a way, I’m not telling you you suck at decision making by any means (although I’ll admit I am often indecisive! :/ Ugh!) But I am sharing two things I’ve found to be SO important over the last few months of making major decisions and headway on business ( & life) stuff that for months had me full of anxiety. No more y’all! God finally reminded me of these two gems I learned (made up probably) years & years ago when I was still a teenager making big money/location/college/life decisions…and I’m very grateful because it’s adding much needed calm to the crazy! So lets dig in love!
1. Fear vs Love
Darling, if I can tell you pretty much just one thing forever (can you imagine me not talking/writing a ton though?! haha!) it’d be THIS. Choose faith, love & hope over fear. If you feel called to do something, start a business, start a family, quit your business, get a new job, anything…do NOT make that decision based on fears! Do not let your fears, your anxieties, or any negative aspect control you in this. The Bible says something to the effect of “do not fear” over 365 times (depending on the translation!) …for a pretty good reason! One for each day, to remind you & me that fear does not get a place at our head table so to speak.
Fear will talk you out of things that God has planned for you that would blow your MIND! Fear will tell you that you can’t control that outcome, so you’d best not even start or try. It’ll tell you that something bad may happen right after the awesome things show up, it’s telling you an “I told you so” before you’ve even taken that first step! Guess what? It’s lying! Yes, there are still bumps in the road and things will never be rainbows and butterflies, but, it’ll also never be as bad as our brains & the enemy can make up when we let fear win!

2. See it from the “Granny Vision” perspective
I talk about your “granny vision” in my book – but it’s also pretty self explanatory. ha!
Think about any decision like this: When I’m 80, will I look back and regret not taking this chance/opportunity/option? Will I wonder “what if?”
Just spend a little bit of time there and see how it plays out, the answers may surprise you!

I really, really hate anxiety & overwhelm in general, but especially when it holds back amazing women from chasing their god given dreams & callings! SO lets kill overwhelm with these steps, and go & do in big & bold ways, deal!? 😉 Deal!
with love & blessings,
